Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver the Fitness Central experience to our members and clients in each session.
• Adhere to Fitness Central personal training standards and procedures.
• Continuously monitor the exercise/movement intensity of your client(s) throughout your training session(s).
• Report to your session(s) a minimum of 15 minutes before session start to ensure everything is set up properly.
• Begin and end each session on time.
• Execute sessions on a regular basis and keep subbing to a minimum.
• Communicate with the Director of Personal Training on member and client feedback, equipment and operation status as well as scheduling and subbing.
• Ensure the equipment that was used is put away, sanitized and properly stored.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Instructors must have a current personal training certification.
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Must be well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications for all populations.
• Must be eager to learn and continue professional development and education.
