Bus Driver
To safely operate a school bus to timely transport students to and from school daily as well as providing transportation for special routes, field trips and athletic events as necessary.
High school diploma or GED required. Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger bus and air brakes endorsement.
Ability to demonstrate qualities aligned to our core values of Character, Communication, Collaboration and Continuous Improvement. Be knowledgeable about assigned routes and schedules, Ability to execute routes accurately and efficiently. Ability to maintain necessary licenses, certifications, and training required for the position. Patience, composure, and the ability to manage challenging situations with students. Ability to successfully complete district driver training program and 90-day probationary period. Ability to operate GPS device.
Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
