Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Temporary Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, M-F

You are often the first and most frequent point of contact for patients. Your professionalism, technical expertise, and compassion directly influence patient experience, specimen quality, and diagnostic accuracy—making you a vital part of the healthcare delivery process.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimens
• Prepare, label, process, and package specimens accurately for laboratory testing
• Verify patient identification and demographics, ensuring proper labeling and documentation at time of collection
• Create a welcoming, professional environment while explaining procedures and easing patient concerns
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
• Follow all established policies, procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements
• Support operations across Patient Service Centers and in-office locations as needed, including floating between sites
• Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with minimal supervision

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 1–3+ years of phlebotomy experience depending on skill level
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations with minimal notice (as applicable)
• Ability to meet compliance requirements including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB test (COVID and Flu are strongly recommended)
