Job Title: Psychiatrist (MD/DO) Adult Inpatient

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team at HCA Florida Orange Park Medical Center. This role covers adult inpatient psychiatry along with PHP/IOP programming, ECT, psychiatric consults, and GME resident teaching, working alongside an experienced, physician-led team and a strong midlevel support staff.

Position Highlights

• Full-time adult inpatient psychiatry position at HCA Florida Orange Park Medical Center
• PHP/IOP (Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient) program involvement
• Access to Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for patients requiring advanced treatment
• Psychiatric consult responsibilities
• GME Faculty appointment available teach and mentor psychiatry residents
• Supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs/PAs)
• Collaborative, physician-led practice environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult inpatients
• Manage adult inpatient and PHP/IOP treatment plans
• Administer and oversee Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) treatment
• Provide psychiatric consultation services as needed
• Supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs/PAs)
• Teach, supervise, and mentor psychiatry residents as GME faculty
• Work alongside therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in shared call coverage

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Experience with ECT preferred
• Interest in GME teaching and resident supervision a plus
• Comfortable supervising and collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
