Yard Attendant - Atlanta, GA

Summary: The Yard Attendant's primary objective is to assist the shop on making sure CTOS equipment is rental ready, assist with loading and unloading equipment. The position also consists of maintaining the appearance of the branch, assisting mechanics, or other personnel with various labor-based tasks, and completing other daily assignments that support the branch operations.
Job Duties
- Always maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules; and wear required safety PPE
- Detailing inside and outside of trucks (wash bay)
- Operate a variety of light and heavy-duty trucks on premises
- Assist technicians with repair work where additional hands are required. May require occasional travel with field technicians to assist on field repairs
- Check in / Check out of rental, sale, used equipment
- Various labor tasks related to maintenance of the building, yard, shop, warehouses, or equipment
- Routine will include sweeping, emptying trash, and other similar tasks
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Minimum Education Required: High School/GED

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Parts and service or related experience required. Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office Suite) and inventory software. Key Traits: Extremely detail oriented and accurate. Mechanical aptitude. Adapting to changing work priorities. Meeting deadlines and schedules. Setting priorities. Mental/Physical Requirements: Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. Punctual attendance and willingness to work additional hours as needed. Physical capability for lifting, carrying, and other tasks. Proficiency in communication and problem-solving.
