Manager on Duty

Wage: $20.60 to $24.16 per hour (Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, with most new hires starting between the minimum and midpoint of the posted wage range) Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week Location: Pearl Street Family YMCA, Tacoma, WA As a Manager on Duty, you will be responsible for overseeing branch operations and administration by ensuring staff and members are in compliance with all YMCA policies and practices, supervising branch staff, and responding to emergencies and member incidents. Qualifications Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required. High school graduate or equivalent. Positive attitude and previous experience with diverse populations. Demonstrated maturity, sound judgment and decision-making skills. Relevant knowledge and experience, especially in a supervisory and/or leadership capacity is preferred. A Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen (preferred). Must be willing to obtain within 30 days of employment. Key Responsibilities Open and/or close the facility following proper procedures. Do facility walk-throughs during your shift. Support the Membership desk and Welcome Center. Build relationships with Members. Be the first responder to emergencies and incidents. Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are being maintained.
