Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Ohio, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and a valid OH or compact RN license. Requirements Active OH RN license or compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI Minimum 2 years of ER experience 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference - no coworker references accepted Responsibilities Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts) Every other or every third weekend required Hospital emergency department setting Patient ratio of 1:3.5 Documents and charts using Epic EMR; medications dispensed via Pyxis Floating required Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred Must be comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care 36-hour orientation provided Navy scrubs required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Former employees of this facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a 6-month separation period Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting the position - candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to a fingerprinting location or will receive a mailed packet to complete urgently Multiple parking permit options are available for purchase through CampusParc, ranging from surface lot access with shuttle service to 24/7 garage access Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-729746 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
