RN - Float Pool

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in a float pool setting. This position involves providing care to medical-surgical and telemetry units, as well as rehabilitation services as needed.

Shift Information

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Every other weekend requirements
• Holiday requirement: Travelers are expected to work during two of the three major holidays. If the contract spans only two holidays, one must be worked.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to diverse populations in various settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
• Document patient care services in compliance with established protocols.
• Participate in the orientation and education of nursing staff as needed.
• Be prepared to care for COVID-positive patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• Ability to float to various medical-surgical and telemetry units, as well as rehabilitation settings.

Additional Information

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed.
