About the Role

This position serves as the operational leader of the restaurant.

You will oversee daily operations, guest experience, team development, financial performance, and service execution while working closely with ownership and culinary leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily restaurant operations
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop team members
• Coach and mentor supervisors and hourly staff
• Maintain service standards and guest experience expectations
• Manage scheduling, labor, payroll, and staffing levels
• Monitor sales performance and operating expenses
• Review and manage restaurant financial performance
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and team communication
• Partner with culinary leadership on daily execution
• Manage POS and reservation systems
• Coordinate private events and special programming
• Resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations
• Support local marketing and community initiatives
• Maintain food safety, operational, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate facility maintenance and vendor services

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Restaurant General Manager experience
• Experience managing teams of 20+ employees
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials and P&L management
• Experience with labor management, scheduling, and payroll
• Inventory and purchasing experience
• Proven success developing and retaining teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Food safety knowledge
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
