Cytogenetic Technologist
MLR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Cytologist to join a prestigious healthcare facility serving the greater Chicago area. Apply now and be part of our team!
Schedule:
- Day shifts, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine specimen screenings and document daily workload.
- Conduct cytological exams on GYN and non-GYN specimens.
- Evaluate processed specimens from various collection devices per manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform quality control assessments, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- ASCP Cytology Technician certification (CT) or eligibility within one year of employment.
