About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Day/Night Rotate Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Long-Term Care License: Valid RN license in Alaska Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: BSN preferred Description: Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the nursing process. Utilize principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Adhere to standards of nursing practice. Skilled in using a PC, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and relevant clinical databases. 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 to 18 during the day shift and 1 to 25 during the night shift. Dress code is scrubs. General and Planetree orientation are mandatory.
