Floater Pharmacist

As a part-time Wegmans pharmacist, you will work closely with leaders and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience. What You'll Do Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns while showing empathy with sensitive situations Strive to exceed expectations and provide alternative solutions to problems Provide counseling on prescriptions, relaying pertinent information for success and confidence with at-home use of medication Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations, following all company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures Requirements Pharmacist state license (may require licensing in multiple states) Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree Certified Pharmacist Immunizer AED, CPR certified Computer skills Preferred Qualifications Certified in a disease state At Wegmans, we've always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people. Work Environment The physical demands of this work are classified as light. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive forceful pinching and grasping, bending, and lifting, frequent use of a computer and telephone, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 1 – 10 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 35 pounds rarely. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderately low twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).The work environment is indoors. Basic tools and equipment used include cash register, computer, telephone, pill counter, and pharmacy and office supplies.
