Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across various disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously for precision, resolve discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are maintained and calibrated to the highest standards.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary, ensuring all procedures are documented thoroughly.
• Support the training of new staff and students, upholding the lab's quality standards, while maintaining a tidy, safe work environment and adhering to all regulatory guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health field, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain certification throughout your tenure with us.
