Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Current Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students across multiple disability categories
• Strong knowledge of IEP planning, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills for partnering with families and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction for K-2 and middle school students in multi-categorical self-contained or resource environments
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that values each student’s unique abilities and needs
• Create and manage IEPs, working closely with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to establish goals and accommodations
• Use data-driven practices to assess, track, and report on student progress
• Participate actively in school meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning opportunities
• Incorporate evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to enhance student engagement and growth
