Job Details Job Location: Chattanooga, TN 37402 Salary Range: $12.00 - $25.00 hourly Join the Team at the Brand-New Embassy Suites Downtown Chattanooga! We’re looking for passionate, driven individuals to help bring exceptional service to life. Job Description Complete all required training. Adhere to all standard operating procedures and property‑specific brand standards. Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests. Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest. Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards. Present and serve beverages to guests. Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations. Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests, including use of the point‑of‑sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change, and processing gift certificates, cards, and vouchers. Stock and maintain the bar inventory. Ensure product quality of all beverage‑related perishables. Necessary Skills Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc. Be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assets. Have knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures. Be able to report to all scheduled shifts. Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person. Work a flexible schedule; availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Be organized, honest, and work well with others. Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and appearance. Have the highest degree of integrity and be humble, living by the Golden Rule. Work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Value dedication, innovation, respect, excellence, community focus, and a spirit of service. Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds. Work for 8 hours in a restrictive space or environment. Have eyesight enabling vision both near and far. Use arms for up to 8 hours. Handle heat and stress. Have finger dexterity for operating equipment. Speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand English.
