OVERVIEW

This individual will be responsible for the company’s performance in terms of efficient, effective, and timely maintaining of cleanliness of General Equipment’s equipment fleet, both inside and out, to a satisfactory and presentable level to General Equipment’s customers. This individual will also be responsible for operating heavy construction equipment to bring it to and from the wash bay.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Works safely and uses safe techniques
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment, inside and out to a presentable level using a wash wand and shop vacuum cleaner
• Completes all paperwork required for jobs
• Responsible for operating heavy construction equipment in a safe manner
• Knowledge/experience of basic cleaning procedures
• May perform other duties as assigned as directed by Service Management

• Capable of lifting 50lbs
• Able to work in awkward position for extended period of time

PAY SCALE: $19/hr-$21/hr DOE

Nature And Scope Of Job

• Washing equipment requires frequent forward bending with spinal twisting; frequent climbing up/down ladders; frequent walking; prolonged standing; continuous balancing
• Vacuuming out cabs requires periodic kneeling with forward bending and spinal twisting
• Must be able to withstand awkward postures of forward bending/twisting to lift container (shop vac)
• Requires the ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record
