Pay: $2,914.80 weekly

Shifts: Monday through Friday, 9:30 am-6:00 pm; evening 1:30 pm-10:00 pm 1-2 nights a week possible

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a Contract to Hire position in Warwick, RI. This role will involve working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications and providing essential consultation services to patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

Accept and dispense prescription medications
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law
Verify the suitability of prescribed medicines
Maintain confidential records, ensuring accurate management of patient records and pharmacy files
Advise patients on medication usage and potential reactions
Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medicines
Conduct services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management
Educate patients on the correct use of medical devices
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions
Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and clerks
Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
Identify drug-related problems and communicate solutions to healthcare practitioners
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists

Requirements of the Pharmacist

Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
Licensed by the state pharmacy board
