Travel RN – PACU (704) – 13‑Week Contract Position Summary: 12‑hour shift from 7:00AM to 7:00PM with overnight call each week and a 48‑hour weekend call every 4 weeks. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Location Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, Idaho Falls, ID (3100 Channing Way, 2nd floor). Shift & Call Details Regular shift: 7:00AM–7:00PM. Weekly call: 7:00PM–7:00AM on the same night. Every 4 weeks: 48‑hour weekend call. Unit Information Unit: PACU (8–12 hour variable shifts). Number of beds: 13. Patient ratios: 1:1 or 1:2. Staffing support: unit secretaries and techs available. Equipment: standard PACU equipment. Documentation system: Meditech. Scheduling requirement: 36hours per week plus calls. Floating: may float to Day Surgery. On‑Call Expectations Variable weekend requirement. Variable on‑call expectations. Qualifications and Experience 1–3 years PACU experience. Level 2 trauma hospital experience. Clinical skills: IV starts, drips, arterial lines, pain blocks. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Other Requirements Dress code: uniforms provided.
