Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour.   The Base rate increases .50 upon completion of 60 days of employment.

We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.

If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don’t bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay. 

However, the earning potential is much higher!

About the Role

As a Southern Star Starlink Technician, you'll install and service Starlink, the high-speed satellite internet connecting homes across rural and underserved communities. You'll do more than install equipment. You'll be a technology ambassador who gets customers online and shows them how to make the most of their new service.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:  Strong technical knowledge and the ability to climb ladders up to 38 ft and work in crawl spaces.
• Travel:  Willing to travel up to 20% of the time. Lodging and per diem are covered by SSI.
• Communication:  Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Sales:  Offer customers additional products and services during installs.
• Time Management:  Strong time management skills.
• Clear background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Record.
