Pharmacy Care Representative

As a Pharmacy Care Representative, you'll work in a team environment to provide superior customer service that exceeds patient expectations. Key responsibilities include providing superior customer service, working closely with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacy Care Representatives to provide excellent patient care, promoting greeting, asking, and thanking strategies, receiving written prescriptions, verifying demographic and profile-related information, processing prescriptions and refill numbers, generating prescription-related paperwork, using the RXEVO point of sale system, directing customers to counseling windows, maintaining manual signature capture receipts, processing customer transactions, managing inventory, complying with HIPAA regulations, ensuring department sanitation, and more.

Qualifications include being 18 years or older, having experience in retail or pharmacy, working knowledge of pharmacy-related tasks, strong communication and customer service skills, mathematical skills, PC skills, cash-handling skills, ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, telephone etiquette, managing multiple priorities, teamwork, working with little direct supervision, and willingness to cross-train. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and completion of all required training and certifications.
