Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Mid Coast Region

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36 Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend may be required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and assessment in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 4-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department.
• Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI (or MOAB), and NIHSS certifications.
• CPI or MOAB must be obtained prior to starting the position.
• Charge experience is a plus.
