About the Job Audio Visual Technician We are seeking a skilled and dependable Audio Visual Technician to join our company. In this role, you will install, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audio visual equipment to ensure a seamless experience for clients. Responsibilities:
- Install AV equipment including: microphones, speakers, projectors, displays, cameras, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain AV inventory, organize projects and assist with design process, and have a voice in the evolution of our products and services.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure equipment is used properly.
- High school diploma, 2 year associates degree, technical training or certifications preferred.
- Experience working with audio visual equipment in events, corporate, education, hospitality, or venue settings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and transport AV equipment as needed.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or early mornings when required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of signal flow, adapters, cabling, and AV connectivity.
- Familiarity with digital mixers, video conferencing systems, control panels, and switching equipment.
- Knowledge of common AV software and presentation platforms.
- CTS certification or similar AV credentials.
