Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Weirton, WV

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2079.88 - 2183.87

Schedule: 12/630p-630a or Mid Shift 215p-1045p (5x8s per week)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: BLS, ACLS, RRT and/or CRT (those grandfathered in by the WV Board of Resp are acceptable), 3-4 years of experience preferred, or first-time travelers acceptable, must have unexpired driver's license, experience with floor duties, breathing treatments, ABGs, capillary sticks, managing respiratory equipment, assist intubations, no EKGs, no NICU, work in ER or Peds setting, ability to work with hospitalist or intensivist, able to wear teal scrubs, 1-3 shifts with a preceptor, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform floor duties including breathing treatments and ABGs.
• Manage respiratory equipment such as ventilators, BiPAP, and high flow devices.
• Draw ABGs and perform capillary sticks for I-Stats.
• Assist with endotracheal intubations.
• Support inpatient units, ER, rehab, PACU, SNF, endoscopy, and cath lab.
