Behavior Specialist (Social Worker/Counselor)AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Behavior Specialist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year.Job Description:Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High SchoolCaseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school locationContract through the 2026/2027 school year: 16 – 24 hours per weekContract follows the academic district calendarQualifications:Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field (master's preferred)Must have a valid license as a LPC or LSWMust have a Valid Ohio LicensureExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral needsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.Essential Functions:Conduct behavioral assessmentsDevelop and implement individualized behavior plansMonitor progress and adjust plans as neededTrain and support staff and familiesMaintain documentation and reportsPay:$816 – $1,296 per weekWhy choose AB Staffing?Since 2002, AB Staffing has placed contract employees in positions all across the country.
