Work hours: Multiple day shift options available (36 or 40 hour full-time schedules)

• Certified Surgical Technologists (CST & CST Specialist) Sign-On Bonus Available for CSTs CVOR | Neuro | General Surgery | Robotics | Urology | Plastics Day & Evening shifts available 36 and 40-hour schedules
• Registered Nurses (RN Operating Room) CVOR | General Surgery OR Service Line Specialist II RN Supervisor (Neuro, OMFS, ENT, Ophthalmology) Day shift | 40 hours

Qualifications

Here's What You Need

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Required)
• BSN (Preferred)
• Minimum 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN Residency Program (Required)
• Operating Room experience in CVOR or Operating Room Specialty (Preferred)
• RN license upon hire (Required)
• BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)
• ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Preferred upon hire)

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Requirements

• HS Diploma or Equivalent and: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program OR Employed as a Surgical Technologist prior to September 1, 2009 OR Graduate/completion of a military Surgical Technology program
• CST Specialist - Minimum 2 years recent surgical service experience, preferably robotics, cardiovascular/hearts, orthopedics, neurology (Required)
• CST - 1 year of CST Operating room experience
• CST Certification (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) (Required)
• BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• LVN license accepted in alignment with Surgical Technology qualifications

What You Will Do

RN Operating Room

• Deliver patient-centered care utilizing the Nursing Process
• Perform OR circulator duties and assessments
• Plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care throughout the surgical experience
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff to ensure safe outcomes

CST Operating Room

• Assist the RN circulator in formulating and implementing the plan of care
• Prepare, organize, and maintain the sterile field
• Assist with peri-operative care for infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Ensure proper instrumentation and supplies are available for procedures
