Quality Engineer

Quality EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to drive customer satisfaction through continuous process improvement and robust quality systems. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining Process Control Plans (PCP) and PFMEA, with performance measured by RPN reduction, first-pass yield, and warranty improvement. You need to bring strong communication and technical writing skills with an ability to lead, coach, and manage multiple priorities. You’ll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Join our team as we are committed to quality excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.As the Quality Engineer, you’ll focus on:Develop and maintain Process Control Plans (PCP) for products and modelsLead cross-functional corrective and preventative actions based on yield, warranty, and customer feedbackPerform failure analysis on customer returns with a focus on rapid resolutionMentor teams in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologiesSupport APQP/PPAP activities for new product launchesCoordinate customer visits and serve as a quality representative in Lean initiativesResolve critical quality issues in line with company policiesThe minimum qualifications for this Quality Engineering position:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field OR at least 3 years of relevant quality engineering experienceStrong background in manufacturing quality processes and improvement programsExperience with automotive standards (TS-16949, ISO-9000) and customer/supplier relationsKnowledge of electrical/mechanical device manufacturing processesExcellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skillsSome travel and overtime as neededBig Plus: certifications in ASQ Certified Mechanical Inspector, ASE Certification, or Certified Quality Technician
