Job Description
The Body Technician will handle a range of repair tasks from minor dents to major wreck restorations on all vehicle types. Working within a medium-sized team, this role requires skill in frame alignment and comprehensive damage assessment to ensure vehicles are restored to high-quality standards. The technician will also engage with customers and adhere to safety protocols, occasionally working overtime or weekends to meet repair demands.
Responsibilities
- Perform wreck repairs on all vehicle types
- Match paint accurately for seamless finishes
- Prepare surfaces for painting and repair work
- Remove dents and restore body panels
- Align vehicle frames to factory specifications
- Replace damaged parts as needed
- Assess damage and provide accurate repair plans
- Conduct quality inspections before vehicle release
- Interact with customers to explain repairs and progress
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in auto body repair
