As the only 24/7 Emergency Veterinary Hospital serving Niceville and the Emerald Coast , our team provides life‑saving care during nights, weekends, and holidays. We are looking for veterinary professionals who can bring confidence, technical skill, and compassion to some of the most challenging and rewarding cases in veterinary medicine. Key Responsibilities Support emergency and urgent care patients Support hospitalized and critical care cases Perform IV catheter placement and venipuncture Assist in anesthesia monitoring and recovery Conduct diagnostic testing and patient assessment Communicate with clients during stressful situations Manage fast‑paced treatment room workflows Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on veterinary clinical experience required Prior experience in emergency, critical care, specialty, or high‑volume general practice strongly preferred Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred; highly skilled Veterinary Assistants with advanced technical abilities considered Proficiency in patient restraint and handling, IV placement, anesthetic monitoring, emergency protocols, multitasking under pressure Experience with veterinary PIMS and electronic medical records Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills Ability to remain calm, focused, and professional during trauma cases and overnight surges Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis Schedule Current hiring need is focused on overnight and weekend coverage with shifts running from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Effective July 1st, team members will be eligible for shift differential pay.
