LTC GNA/CMT

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position

Minimum Requirements:

1. Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required
2. Experience with memory care patients, preferred
3. Prefer one year of geriatric nursing assistant experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years.
4. Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and having the ability to be work with geriatrics per state requirements. Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
5. Current CPR
6. TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
7. Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
8. Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
9. Must be at least 18 years of age
