AfroSabor is a Black-centered Afro-Latin cultural organization based in New York City focused on community, belonging, and cultural preservation through dance, music, and social experiences. We are seeking a volunteer Video Editor to help transform footage from our workshops, socials, and community events into engaging short-form content for Instagram and other social platforms. Responsibilities Edit Instagram Reels and other short-form videos from existing footage Add music, captions, graphics, and transitions where appropriate Help showcase the energy, joy, and community of AfroSabor through video content Collaborate with AfroSabor leadership on content direction and priorities Maintain consistent communication regarding project status and timelines Qualifications Experience editing short-form video content Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, or similar platforms Ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines Strong communication skills Interest in culture, community-building, storytelling, or the arts Commitment A few flexible hours per week Fully remote Volunteer position What Success Looks Like Creating content that helps people feel the warmth, joy, energy, and sense of belonging that make AfroSabor unique.
