Test Technician I

Job OverviewOur Electronic Test Technicians are responsible for testing, troubleshooting and repairing subassemblies and final assemblies down to the component level for products that protect and support telecommunications, renewable energy, transportation, defense and other applications worldwide.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms electrical product testing in a manufacturing settingPerforms product and system repair and preventive maintenance as requiredPerforms verification checks on electronic instrumentsWrites procedures for test and inspectionInvestigates and analyzes part failureFollows established safety proceduresResponsible for quality as related to job duties and has the authority to address issues of quality at any levelQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent qualificationAA degree in electronics preferred or minimum 2 years equivalent experiencePhysical DemandsThe employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, keyboards or controls.
