Responsibilities Execute a wide range of ultrasound procedures—abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and pediatric imaging. Ensure a welcoming and safe atmosphere for patients, guiding them through their experience. Partner closely with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure high-quality imaging results. Maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, promptly addressing technical issues. Document all procedures meticulously in the electronic medical system. Keep up-to-date with the latest advances in ultrasound technology and imaging best practices. Educational Background Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field required. Preference for candidates who have completed a CAAHEP‑accredited Sonography program. Certification Requirements Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
