Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Medical Biller will verify insurance benefits, utilize payor portals to establish patient benefits, and communicate findings to clinic staff while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Key responsibilities Review insurance benefits for accuracy and test the accuracy of patient benefit information Utilize payor portals to establish patients' benefits and complete daily action item requirements Communicate benefits to co-workers at the clinics and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies Required qualifications Experience in medical billing and knowledge of insurance verification processes Ability to navigate EMR systems and analyze data for statistics Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building Self-starter with a high energy level and professionalism
