Our teams service major commercial mechanical companies nationwide, with end-user clients that include Fortune 100 organizations in data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, EV battery production, healthcare, universities, and district energy sectors. This role is critical to ensuring efficient freight coordination, equipment transportation, operational readiness, and administrative support across PurgeRite's rapidly scaling operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and is willing to support operational logistics needs outside of standard business hours when necessary. Position Overview: PurgeRite is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage nationwide and international freight operations, fleet support, and logistics administration for our rapidly expanding mechanical flushing services. This role acts as a key liaison between Operations, Field teams, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely project execution in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Duties And Responsibilities Logistics & Freight Coordination Shipment Scheduling: Coordinate and track daily inbound and outbound domestic/international freight (expedited, hotshots, carriers, internal drivers) across job sites, facilities, and laydown yards. Real-Time Support: Provide live tracking updates to internal teams and handle urgent, after-hours or weekend logistics needs as required. Optimization: Proactively manage delays, mitigate operational risks, and support cost-reduction initiatives. Assist with planning equipment transfers between branches, laydown yards, vendors, and customer sites. Administrative & Compliance Documentation & Records: Process shipping paperwork, delivery tickets, freight invoices, and toll charges while maintaining tracking spreadsheets and ERP systems. Fleet & Vendor Admin: Reconcile vendor invoices and maintain software visibility (Fleetio, Samsara). Regulatory Compliance: Support DOT/CDL compliance, including permits, registrations, and insurance records. Operational Support Schedule Alignment: Ensure transportation timelines align with project schedules and job readiness needs. Cross-Functional Communication: Resolve issues quickly by liaising with field personnel, shop leadership, and vendors. Performance Tracking: Assist leadership with logistics KPIs and process improvement initiatives for scalability. Requirements Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in domestic/international logistics coordination, transportation, dispatching, or fleet operations. Availability: Willingness to support a 24/7 operational environment (after-hours/weekends when needed). Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities in high-urgency environments. Tech: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams). Preferred Qualifications Bilingual capabilities. Industry background in industrial services, construction, mechanical, HVAC, or oil & gas. Familiarity with DOT/CDL compliance and platforms like Fleetio or Samsara.
