Healthcare Review/Audit Consultant

Job Family Operational Effectiveness Consulting Travel Required Up to 10% Clearance Required Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do Guidehouse is looking for a Consultant to work on a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) project with the Office of Financial Management (OFM). The role will help ensure thorough reviews of CMS programs, specific to the Affordable Care Act. The Consultant will work with a team of reviewers to support a CMS program integrity initiative. Responsibilities include analyzing data and process documentation, identifying policy and program updates, updating program materials, verifying error findings with stakeholders, documenting lessons learned, and contributing to the development of program documents and reporting. The individual will also support firm‑wide initiatives to support the growth of the firm. What You Will Need Bachelor’s degree in health policy, public health, public policy, or other health, finance, accounting, or social science related field 1–3 years of professional experience in audit, compliance, research, program management, process improvement, or operations Experience with and/or knowledge of data analysis Strong writing and presentation skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with experience identifying and communicating key work issues to project and task leaders Acute attention to detail, process‑oriented, and strong work ethic Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required) What Would Be Nice To Have Knowledge of Health Insurance Exchanges (preferred, not required) Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage (preferred, not required) Auditing experience (preferred) Annual salary range: $74,000.00–$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
