Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Geropsychiatric

Schedule: Night Shift 7p-7a

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- 2-year Associate's degree or diploma from a 3-year Nursing program required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid State of New Hampshire RN license
- BLS certification required
- 1 year previous nursing experience preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive nursing care activities on the Geropsychiatric Unit.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories.
- Perform mental and physical assessments, administer medications, and provide assistance with daily activities.
- Manage activities with the therapeutic milieu including conducting daily groups and collaborating with the treatment team.
- Complete individualized treatment plans and discharge plans efficiently.

Compliance / Notes:
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- The facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
