Quality Engineer

JRL Group – Quality Engineer JRL Group’s East Midlands facility is located beside the A1 in Carlton on Trent, between Retford and Newark. We are part of a large, established group with over 14 divisions and a turnover of more than £900m, delivering construction projects across the UK. Hours Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm Friday: 8:30am – 3:45pm (Early finish) About The Role Join our Modular Quality Team as a Quality Advocate. You will help improve our Right‑First‑Time results, set up strong quality processes, and make sure our products meet all standards and customer requirements. What You'll Do Create and run quality checks and test procedures during new product introduction Carry out audits, review data, and suggest improvements Investigate defects and put solutions in place Work with production and other teams to fix issues quickly Train and support team members Keep all quality records and documentation up to date What You’ll Need At least 5 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role Degree in Engineering or similar subject Background in manufacturing Knowledge of quality standards / Lean Six Sigma (desirable) Good analytical and problem‑solving skills Familiar with NPI, FMEA, SPC and APQP Good communication and ability to lead Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience with Field View software is a bonus We are an Equal Opportunities Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr JRL Group Ltd
