Locums Neonatal NP Clinic Lansing, MI (Active MI License) Why This Role Ongoing Level III NICU coverage at a Level I Trauma Center Flexible 12.5-hour day and night shifts Collaborative APP model with on-site Neonatologist supervision Epic EMR Travel expenses reimbursed Assignment Details Start Date: July 5, 2026 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Setting: Inpatient Level III NICU Schedule: Days: 7:00 AM Ai 7:30 PM Nights: 7:00 PM Ai 7:30 AM Average Patient Volume: 10 Ai12 patients per APP per day EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Active Michigan license (required at presentation) Current NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor certification Neonatal experience required (new graduates not accepted) Self-Query NPDB dated within 30 days of presentation Ability to submit hourly rate at time of presentation Clinical Details Provide inpatient neonatal care in a Level III NICU Work alongside supervising Neonatologists (no autonomous practice) Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation Required procedures include PICC placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, and chest tube placement Coverage needed due to staffing shortages following fellowship program changes
