Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry.

Required Credentials: Must pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Special Requests: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Holiday RTO will be considered; however, it cannot be guaranteed.

Unit Details: Medical and post-op/surgical patient population. Charge nurse is a clinical supervisor who provides break relief and does not take a patient assignment. Portable telemetry boxes are used as needed; monitor techs are available. No IV team.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. Holidays work into permanent staff rotation.

Floating Requirements: First to float. May float to tele with a 1:4 ratio and may also float between Med-Surg floors.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
