Job Title

Install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and machinery under minimal supervision. In this position, the associate must have extensive knowledge of safety procedures and execute them at all times.

1. Analyze problems in machinery and determine solutions. 2. Under general supervision, install, repair, and give preventive and corrective maintenance to hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components of industrial equipment and machinery following the established times and itineraries in the department. Alert in time when situations occur that affect the compliance of these. 3. Ensure that the equipment and its installation comply with applicable regulations. 4. Coordinate your tasks with other mechanics and the supervisor. 5. Responsible for the control of dangerous energy ("Lockout / Tagout"), when required. 6. Minor plumbing, welding, and special assignment work. 7. Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plans and spare parts. 8. Perform equipment movements, lines, etc. ("layout"). 9. Repair industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, material loading carts, etc.).

III. SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Order spare parts, order materials for repair and preventive maintenance of equipment, if necessary. 2. Ensure to carry out the preventive maintenance assigned to you. 3. Ensure daily that all equipment, tools, or machinery are working correctly. (e.g., "Chillers", Compressors, Generators, etc.) 4. Perform the repairs assigned to you. 5. Contribute to the solution of quality, productivity, and safety problems. 6. Report at all times to the manufacturing supervisor where you will be working and if there is any imminent risk in the assigned equipment.

IV. SPECIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Execute tasks according to the Safety and Environment Policies and Procedures of the plant; preventing environmental contamination, ensuring that safety rules are complied with by you and others, taking care of and correctly using the safety equipment in the required areas, in addition to contributing your ideas to improve the health and safety of everyone in the plant. 2. Exercise your function according to the training received, including JSA ("Job Safety Analysis") 3. Use and care of personal protective equipment. 4. Act and ensure your safety and that of your colleagues. 5. Report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor and/or Safety Officer. 6. Be attentive to the prevention of accidents in your work area. 7. Know and put into practice the Safety Policy of the plant. 8. Participate in daily meetings (TIERS) in manufacturing and facilities.

V. EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS, MACHINES AND TOOLS

General industrial mechanics tools. Assigned electricity measuring meter. Safety shoes. Safety glasses. Ear protectors. Any other that may be determined necessary.

Requirements:

1. Vocational technical degree required (industrial mechanics, electricity, electronics, refrigeration technician or instrumentation). Desirable Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical. It is a plus if you have certification as an Assistant Expert Electrician (or in the process of being certified).

2. Minimum Three (3) years of experience in industrial mechanics and/or maintenance of molding machines, stamping presses, refrigeration.

3. Knowledgeable in PLC is desirable.

Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
