Spa Concierge (Front Desk)

Reporting to the Supervisor Spa & Concierge, the Spa Concierge Specialist is an outgoing, motivated individual capable of adapting to change in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment. They demonstrate passion for people, encouraging and inspiring guests to elevate their health and beauty while creating memorable Best in Class experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Initiates and connects in‑person and by phone contact with guests to ensure all reservations for spa services, pool rentals, day passes, and special events are executed with the highest level of guest service; manages booking changes and inquiries, researches guest profiles for special requests, and guides guests to appropriate therapists or services. Manages white‑glove VIP arrivals, communicates to designated personnel for escort and delivery of amenities, and ensures accurate, up‑to‑date guest database information. Processes point‑of‑sales transactions, ensures accuracy, handles multiple tender types, and closes out the register at the end of each shift while reporting variance issues to accounting. Assists the spa concierge and retail teams in achieving financial goals and key performance indicators, and models Best in Class standards while supporting operational excellence. Maintains cleanliness, health and safety of all spa facilities, front desk, retail and fitness areas, and ensures compliance with all policies and visual merchandising standards. Champions and manages the loyalty wellness membership program. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in guest services, preferably with spa, front desk or retail experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple payment tenders accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide sincere, professional service. Capacity to exercise discretion with confidential information. Strong listening skills and ability to provide tailored service. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment. Comfortable working in both spa and casino environments, including sitting and standing for long periods. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements The primary work environment is a climate‑controlled office setting. The job requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. The employee must operate computer equipment and may travel to attend meetings, trade shows and conferences. Reasonable accommodation will be made as required by law. Licenses and Certifications At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, a gaming license may be required.
