The role you will play:
· Using computer-aided software, create drawings, blueprints, BIM’s, schematics and layouts of products currently being manufactured or for new products being developed.
· Create BIM’s and part numbers for the ERP systems utilized by the company.
· Maintain files for drawings and documentation.
· Assist with material estimates and sales presentations.
· Assist engineers in helping the production and other manufacturing teams have a clear understand of the product design to ensure efficiency and quality.
Background requirements:
· AAS in AutoCAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting and Design or other related field.
· Proficiency with SolidWorks preferred.
· Working understanding of drafting/design standards and processes and GD&T.
· Working Knowledge of ERP systems
· Solid communication skills.
· Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. May include some overnight travel.
