KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care aligned with Craig’s standards and the ANA Code of Ethics. Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Educate patients and families on care plans, goals, and long‑term self‑management techniques. Coordinate care with team members across disciplines, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity. Safely administer medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects. Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner. Apply principles of infection prevention and patient safety to every interaction. Supervise and delegate to unlicensed staff and students as appropriate. Support orientation of new staff and participate in precepting when assigned. Actively participate in Shared Governance, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities. Contribute to a supportive, respectful, and team‑oriented unit culture. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Licensure & Certification Current Colorado RN license. BLS certification required. ACLS and relevant specialty certification (CNRN or CRRN) preferred. Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. BSN required within 18 months of hire (CCNE or NLNAC‑accredited program preferred). Experience Minimum of 1 year of bedside RN experience required. Experience in neuroscience, acute med‑surg, or rehabilitation strongly desired. Skills & Strengths Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills. Effective communicator and team collaborator. Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and trauma‑informed care. Organized, self‑motivated, and skilled in time management. Comfortable using EMRs and basic computer systems.
