Support a primary care, specialty practice, and multispecialty clinic as a Medical Front Office Coordinator serving adult, pediatric, and mixed patient populations. Reporting to the practice manager, this role coordinates front-office operations, supports providers, and helps deliver an organized, welcoming patient experience. Referral and authorization processing will be performed occasionally.

 

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Manage reception activities and welcome patients.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments.
• Register patients accurately and maintain medical records.
• Process referrals and authorizations as needed.
• Provide administrative support to providers.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical front-office administration.
• Coursework in medical office administration.
• Experience with electronic health records and practice management software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
