Work Life Balance Job Details Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance.
- Review the work progress on a daily basis.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Lead and manage the project team to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in construction project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contract management and familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in construction estimating and budgeting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Strong computer skills and understanding of construction software are a must.
