Director, Corporate FP&A

Job OverviewThe Director, Corporate FP&A will lead Enterprise level forecasting and planning. This highly visible role to the Executive Leadership team will also assist with the Global FP&A efforts to transform Hubbell’s Financial Planning and Reporting processes and tools. This role will help create and deliver solutions which transform the planning and reporting landscape at Hubbell.#LI-HB1A Day In The LifeLead financial forecasting and analysis for the Enterprise.Ensure alignment and thoughtful analysis by working closely with Segment finance teams and driving accountability for key financial metrics.Contribute to the development of content and presentations for the Board of Directors, CEO council and Investor community.Lead forecasting and variance analysis for the Company to support Executive Leadership.Provide functional/technical leadership for large/complex work streams.Work across Groups to enable a common view of processes and requirements, and support development of a holistic planning and reporting process, encompassing the strategic plan, budgeting, forecasting and actuals reporting.Deliver ad-hoc FP&A analysis, including P&L analysis, for earnings calls and related FP&A activities.Lead the financial reporting system team to ensure accurate monthly results in accordance with the Controllership and Audit teams, and drive functional excellence for all users in the Company.What will help you thrive in this role?10+ years of finance and accounting leadership experience, including FP&A, Division Finance and/or Accounting.Large manufacturing industry experience (cost accounting) strongly preferred. Strong project management skills.Ability to multi-task and team-oriented mindset, but capable of working independently.Track-record of working with cross-functional teams, and demonstrated experience interfacing regularly with other finance professionals at all levels.SAP and OneStream experience strongly preferred, knowledge of similar tools (ex. HFM) at a minimum.Strong oral and written skill set, as well as strong presentation skills.Strong business acumen.Experience with driving balance sheet and cash flow analysis, and building models.Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, Master’s a plus.Hubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
