Overview Join a high-performing outpatient orthopedic and concussion management clinic as a Physical Therapist Assistant, working in a setting focused on patient education, self-efficacy, and return-to-function outcomes, led by a DPT and Board-Certified OCS Dr. Nicholas Munro with extensive published research, conference presentations, and advanced orthopedic expertise who is committed to hands-on mentorship and evidence-based care. You’ll support a diverse caseload including orthopedics, concussion management, chronic low back pain, and post-operative rehab in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Located in the Hudson Valley region, the area offers scenic outdoor recreation, suburban living, and easy access to New York City, providing a strong balance of clinical growth and lifestyle. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, You’ll Achieve Success By: Assisting in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine the extent of abilities and limitations Assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and activities of daily living Observing patients during treatments and reporting observations to the Physical Therapist Communicating with staff and other healthcare team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for treatment planning and modifications Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in New York State CPR and first aid certification required Recent graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply Who We Are: ACCESS PT is a member of the Confluent Health family of companies; we’re more than just physical and occupational therapists – we're movement makers.
