Looking for a Clean, Climate-Controlled Manufacturing Environment?

Asama Coldwater Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Metals Lab Operator to support our quality and production teams. This role is responsible for testing, monitoring, documenting, and analyzing metal samples to help ensure product quality and process consistency.

No prior metals laboratory experience is required. We provide training for the specialized equipment and testing procedures used in our facility.

If you have experience with Microsoft Excel, quality-related work, data tracking, inspections, documentation, or laboratory processes, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do

• Perform testing and analysis of metal samples
• Record and maintain quality data using Microsoft Excel
• Monitor test results and communicate concerns to production teams
• Assist with calibrations, standardizations, and equipment checks
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report findings
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Support quality and production initiatives
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the laboratory
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Assist with overtime coverage as needed

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of Microsoft Excel experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to learn technical testing procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Quality inspection experience
• Quality assurance experience
• Laboratory experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Data analysis or reporting experience
• Experience maintaining records and documentation
