Job Summary:

The Cake Decorator at Baskin-Robbins is responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for customers. The Cake Decorator will be expected to use a variety of ingredients to produce high-quality cakes that meet customers' specifications and expectations. The Cake Decorator will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the cake decorating area, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly, and assisting customers with cake orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create custom cakes based on customer orders, following Baskin-Robbins' cake decorating guidelines and standards.
Use a variety of cake decorating techniques, such as piping, frosting, and modeling, to produce visually appealing cakes.
Work with customers to understand their cake requirements and make suggestions based on their preferences.
Ensure that all cakes are decorated to the highest quality standards and meet customer specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized cake decorating area, including all decorating tools and equipment.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
Assist customers with placing cake orders and answer any questions they may have about the cake decorating process.
Keep up-to-date with the latest cake decorating trends and techniques.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Follow Baskin-Robbins' policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cake decorating.
Ability to use a variety of cake decorating tools and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and creativity.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic math skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
