Visitors are invited to taste, discover,and relax in a welcoming winery setting. The winery emphasizes quality, hospitality, and an engaging atmosphere for both new and experienced wine enthusiasts. Team members contribute directly to creating memorable guest experiences that highlight the vineyard’s distinctive wines and setting. Role Description The Tasting Room Associate is a part-time, on-site role based in Greenville, SC. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, guiding them through wine tastings, and providing information about Kennington Family Winery wines, history, and production methods. Day-to-day tasks include presenting wine flights, explaining tasting notes, answering questions, handling wine sales and checkout, and maintaining a clean, organized tasting room and retail area. The associate assists with restocking merchandise, setting up and breaking down tasting stations, and supporting small events or groups as needed. This role requires a professional, friendly presence and a consistent focus on delivering an enjoyable and educational guest experience. Qualifications Wine education and wine sales skills, including the ability to describe varietals, tasting profiles, and food pairings. Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to engage guests, answer questions, and provide clear explanations. Customer service experience with a focus on hospitality, problem-solving, and creating positive guest interactions. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move cases of wine or supplies as needed, and work weekends and holidays. Previous experience in a tasting room, hospitality, retail, or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation to the Greenville, SC location and readiness to adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
